FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RFID for the Most Expansive Selection of Training Props in the U.S.
Phoenix, Arizona, _____, 2017 – AB&R® (American Barcode and RFID Inc.), a nationwide provider of proven supply chain solutions, implemented a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based asset tracking solution for the Volpentest Hazardous Materials Management and Emergency Response (HAMMER) Federal Training Center in Richland, Washington.
The RFID based asset tracking solution includes three RFID Readers at each point of entry, a variety of shaped asset tags for diverse products, and the Zebra RFD8500 to read the RFID tags via Bluetooth on Android or iOS devices.
“Our solution allows HAMMER to manage diverse Respiratory Training assets without interfering with the product’s fit, form or function,” says Curt Squires, RFID Solution Architect.
AB&R® follows a 3-phase approach to identify the unique needs and challenges of a business’ supply chain. Experts conducted site surveys, then stimulated ‘real-world’ workflows and worst-case scenarios to observe the resilience of the installed system. The HAMMER team was also trained to ensure confident day-to-day maintenance.
“Our goal is to provide an efficient operation that maximizes return on investment and we are confident that HAMMER’s new traceability from this system will do just that,” stated Gary Randall, Vice President of Sales.
